What is Renewable Energy?
Any energy which can be captured from natural processes, without depleting the ongoing supply, is Renewable
Energy.

Why do we need Renewable Energy...?
To minimize and eventually abandon reliance on fossil fuels, which are
a depleting resource.
To help minimise the generation of greenhouse gases which may cause
global warming and lead to serious climate change.
To ensure New Zealand is in control of its own energy production and
distribution.
To help meet our responsibilities in complying with the requirements
of the Kyoto Protocols.

How can we access Renewable Energy?
New Zealand has many Renewable Energy sources and to create electricity
from those sources is a relatively simple matter.
Renewable Energy sources are, however, often remote from consumers, hence the problem becomes how to efficiently store & transport the captured energy.
While other technologies are being researched, many of the world's energy experts believe that Hydrogen will eventually become the most practical solution for the storage and distribution of renewable energy.
