Every minute, fossil fuel sources are depleting and their use is causingworldwide, irreparable damage.

If you have a research proposal, feasability study, educational programmeor a great idea to help achieve our shared goal of developing economicallyviable, clean and renewable sources of energy, we want to hear from youright now.

Your application for funding will be reviewed by RENZ trustees againsta set of evaluation criteria, based on our goals below. Successful applicantswill be awarded a grant and can start work straight away, with the additionalbenefit of support and advice from the RENZ board.

At RENZ our goals are simple:

• To research, to assist establishment of, and to support facilities and systems for the economic use of renewable energy, including means of production, storage and usage.
• To reduce or eliminate carbon-based fossil fuel use and consequential pollution of New Zealand's environment.
• To provide assistance, resources and support to groups committed to the goals above, by providing funding for:
• relevant research and education,
• prototype facilities,
• experimentation,
• administration and management of any combination of the above.
